Back Cadan's campaign to make local parks safer for all to use

After several concerning incidents at green spaces in our area, local Lib Dem campaigner Cadan ap Tomos is campaigning to make parks in Splott, Tremorfa and Pengam Green safe for everyone to enjoy.

Whether it's better lighting at Splott Park, removing unsafe barriers at Moorland Park, or dealing with grazing horses at Tremorfa Park, Cadan wants authorities to work together and review safety in parks across our area.

Cadan said: “We’re lucky in our area to have so many green spaces on our doorstep – but they’re little use if people feel afraid to use them.

“And as the nights draw in, people shouldn’t have to rely on torches just to be able to walk around our parks in the early evenings.

“That’s why I’ve launched this campaign calling on the council, the police and other authorities to come up with a plan together to fix these issues.”
